We've made it to our energetic New Years Eve with the New Moon in Pisces. Co-ruled by Neptune and Jupiter, Pisces is compassionate, healing, intuitive, and enchanting. It's the last astrological sign which makes this a sort of cosmic New Years Eve, a moment of completion, reflection, and renewed intention for the action of the new energetic year to come.

Both the Sun and the Moon align in Pisces and are interacting with Saturn, Venus, and Mercury to call our attention to where shifts are necessary and happening whether we want them to or not. Let’s get into the details and how we can best navigate all of this cosmic energy for healing, mind, body, soul self-care, and divine alignment.
Let’s break down the energetic opportunities at hand and what to be mindful of on our daily journeys…

The Sun and the New Moon align in Pisces.

Besides this being the beginning of the end of the energetic new year, this New Moon begins a new lunar cycle and Pisces season focused on deeper creativity, spirituality, intuition, and compassion. During Aquarius season we were called on to revolutionize our lives for our betterment and how we serve the world, and now we move into Pisces season with this clarity, and hopefully a bit lighter.

We're energetically supported in diving within ourselves, tapping into our Divine creativity again, getting inspired, and prioritizing our spirituality. It's the ideal time to dream up the world that we'll build towards in the upcoming season and energetic new year that begins with the fiery New Moon in Aries and Spring Equinox on March 20.

Because Pisces is the last sign of the zodiac, we're also encouraged to reflect on the previous energetic year that began with the Spring Equinox 2022. Ask yourself: Since the spring equinox on March 20, 2022…
  • What were my most challenging moments?
  • What were my most joyful moments?
  • What have I released?
  • What was I rejected from? How did rejection redirect me?
  • What areas of my life are coming to culmination now?
That last question might be difficult to answer, especially if it feels like you're in the thick of something that you don't really understand. Allow me to remind you that it's normal. If things are rough right now, it's Spirit's way of helping you clear your slate before the start of the new energetic year. It's the Universe making you aware of all of your blind spots so that you have conscious awareness of all of the things. It's you being so blessed that you can't and won't go into the Spring Equinox with old energy and patterns because you're been given the opportunity to address them now. If you're in the thick of it, surrender to the integration period and move forward knowing that this is all part of the natural cycle of abundance. With faith and gratitude, move forward.

The New Moon is conjunct Saturn.

The New Moon is conjunct Saturn, the planet of structure, stability, and responsibility in Aquarius, the sign of innovation. Saturn is the strict teacher and Aquarius is the rebel with a cause who is concerned with making things better for everyone. Saturn is moving out of Aquarius and into Pisces on March 7, closing a 2.5 year cycle of self-mastery through personal revolution. To understand how this affected you for the past 2.5 years, check your birth chart for what astrological house Saturn is stationed. (There’s a breakdown of how to do this if your scroll down on this newsletter and even deeper insight on all of this in our latest class, Flowing with the Cosmos.)

Saturn in Aquarius squeezed us in (quite literally if we’re considering the pandemic, global politics, and natural disasters) and gave us the collective opportunity to deal with the recurring patterns that harm us on a global level. On a personal level, Saturn in Aquarius gave us the opportunity to heal through constriction too, to learn every angle of the area of our lives Saturn affects directly, and teach use how to choose love over fear so that we can thrive.

This is really important for understanding our evolution, so I’ll share my Saturn growth experience as an example. Saturn is stationed in my 7th house of relationships, committed partnerships, contracts, and shared resources. In the past 2.5 years, I’ve received countless opportunities to shift my relationships, my understanding of who I was in committed partnerships with and why, to shed the ways I learned to show up in them, and to refine what, who, and how I want to be in committed partnerships moving forward. It’s been painful, liberating, and gratifying, and one of the most important years of my life because it all boiled down to being in a better relationship with myself and honoring the Divinity within me.

Collectively, did we take the opportunities offered to make the world a better place in the last 2.5 years? I think that we can acknowledge the many ways that we have made great strides in many areas while also acknowledging the worlds worsening ego, the recurring patterns that continue to create hell on earth for us, and how all of it continues to serve as the work we need to do to create heaven.

Personally, we should ask ourselves the same question as he head into this new season of growth with Saturn in Pisces who will be stationed there until 2026. Saturn in Pisces will be an important season giving us opportunities for self-mastery through spiritual discipline, creativity, and deepening and embodying our intuitive power.

Look at what astrological house Saturn occupies in your birth chart and consider what spiritual discipline and creativity would look like in that realm of your life. Consider how you can use the lessons you learned in the last 2.5 years to align with beauty, ease, and abundance in this area of your life.

With Saturn in my 7th house of committed partnerships, I’m looking forward to using my intuition and creativity to deepen my existing relationships and forge new ones that are rooted in my human needs and spiritual truths.

Venus and Mercury want our attention.

On Monday, Venus, the planet of love, relationships, and money, is moving into Aries, the fiery sign of action. Whatever area of our birth charts that contain Aries is getting a boost of energy, helping us take action and move forward in the direction of our deepest, most abundant truth. This highlights our need to balance our relationship with being and doing, with moving through our lessons and pausing to integrate them, and with winning and losing. It’s a moment that reminds us that everything is a necessary part of the bigger story, and that because of it, we should embody the courage necessary to move through any and every season of our lives with faith and gratitude.

This is a time to expect action in your relationships. It’s a great idea to move ahead of the curve and create the action yourself! Channel Venus’ energy and intentionally create moments of beauty and connection in your relationship with others as well as for yourself. Lacking passion in your connections? This is the time to fire things up. Try something new. Show up in a bolder way. Future you will thank you.

Also calling our attention is planet of communication Mercury. On Monday, Mercury will be in tense aspect to Uranus, the rebellious planet of awakening. This is energy that brings us unexpected but necessary news and redirection through what feels like a really loud speaker. And then on Tuesday, Mercury will be in harmonious aspect to the planet of action and war, Mars. This is energy that still delivers a message in a way that says, “Hey, you can’t ignore this. This is something that needs to be taken care of,” but in a way that doesn’t burst our proverbial ear drums.

This is a week where the spiritual and energetic call our attention to the how’s and why’s of our healing, advancement, and generally making our human lives on Earth better. As we’ve entered Pisces season, a season where spiritual discipline takes precedent, what rituals, routines, and practices will you prioritize so that you can stay centered and receive what the Universe is offering you? What kinds of ways will you practice grounding so that you can receive the clarity being offered without being toppled over by the shocking reveal of it all?
Let’s talk about self-care.

Pisces season is beautiful and ethereal and dreamy, so dreaming should literally be a self-care practice. Take time to journal your dreams (it could be easier to remember them this month), and take notice of the signs and symbols that come up during your quiet time and meditations (if you randomly envision animals, look them up! I swear by this website).

Pisces season is a time to get creative and deepen your spiritual connection, and in my opinion, there's no better way to do that than to tap into your inner child. This isn't a time to think in terms of “I'm not creative,” because it's blasphemy. We're ALL creative beings! And exercising that creativity should be fun, not perfect. Whether its painting, writing, singing, making music, knitting, sewing, web design, poetry, whatever…DO IT, and do it with the intention of freeing yourself of disconnection with your inner self.

With Pisces being a water sign, naturally, the more time you can spend in water, the better. If you don't live near a body of water, create a deeply healing watery experience at home. Whether you choose to create a spiritual bath or speak gorgeous intentions and affirmations into your water before you drink it, water is THE ultra healing tool this season.

All zodiac signs rule parts of the body and Pisces rules the hands and feet. There are 72,000 energy highways in our bodies that end in the hands and feet, so honor them as graciously as possibly. From a manicure and pedicure to moving meditation where you can use them both, honor your physical antennae as the receptors and receivers that they are.

We're almost at the actual New Year, so in time of doubt, remember wtf you are®️, a formless, boundless, cosmic energy being with infinite potential. Let's wrap this year up and start the next one with gratitude in our hearts and fire in our bellies, as one collective force of the highest and greatest good.

If you're a premium member, you've probably had the pleasure of indulging in our first wellness event of the year, Birth Charting 101 led by Nadia of @selfloveastro. If you need a refresher or haven't watched the workshop yet, navigate to the Member Portal. It's the perfect workshop for beginners.

You can find your birth or natal chart for free online – I like using Chani Nicholas' chart generator on her website. Once you have your chart in front of you, locate the zodiac signs that pertain to this moment's astrology (the sign the Sun and Moon are in) and look at the number of the section they're in. That would be the astrological house you're looking for. You can Google “astrological houses" to get an accurate breakdown of what each means, but here is a breakdown you can use now via AstroStyle

Above is an example of Virgo being in the 9th House of travel, wisdom, philosophy, learning, and ethics, and Pisces being in the 3rd House of thinking, communication, early education, interests, neighbors, and siblings.

Knowing the houses makes all the difference in the energy and focus you can bring your intentions.
