Today we had a great group of folks sharing some of the lessons they learned the hard way.
Don't compromise your boundaries for clients. You set them for a reason.
Expecting clients to actually read the documents and watch the walk-throughs you send is…optimistic. Repeat things whenever possible because - people are lazy.
If you let a boundary lapse, don't be afraid to walk backwards and reinforce it.
Being liked is not as important as your sanity. (Stay professional - but it's ok to be tough.)
Don't let clients talk you into doing things you don't want to do. Smaller projects? New platform? ABSOLUTELY NOT.
