Gratitude: The Key to Stronger Relationships πŸ—

Welcome to another lovely week,

As we wrap up February, our month to focus on relationships and love, let's focus on the power of appreciation. The amazing thing about gratitude is that it is a form of mind training.

Gratitude may not come naturally. You may not wake up feeling grateful for the day. This is normal, this is okay. Like yoga, gratitude requires, tapas - spiritual discipline. You must train your mind to evoke appreciation. If you find yourself secretly resisting gratitude practice, it's likely because your current emotion isn't anywhere close to gratitude, so offering that you are β€œso grateful for your body” is inauthentic.

Like in the midst of an argument, gratitude doesn't come easy. But here's a few mindset shifts to find more gratitude this week:

πŸ‘‰ Write your notes and love messages when you ARE feeling grateful. Don't keep your love to yourself!
πŸ‘‰ Be grateful for the arguments because it means you both care.
πŸ‘‰ Be grateful that you have an opportunity to downscale a situation.
πŸ‘‰ Find gratitude for the strange messiness of human existence.
πŸ‘‰ Find gratitude in turning a β€˜problem’ into a circumstance that just needs appropriate action
πŸ‘‰ Find gratitude for the things you dislike, because they shine a bright light on the things you love and desire
πŸ‘‰ Find gratitude for your overwhelm, because you have an abundance of ideas, you are booked and busy, and are important to other people.

Gratitude helps suck out the inflammation of any situation, and infuses love and positive energy into the things we want to grow 🌱

As the well-known author and speaker BrenΓ© Brown said,
"I don't have to chase extraordinary moments to find happiness - it's right in front of me if I'm paying attention and practicing gratitude."
And as the spiritual teacher Eckhart Tolle said,
"Acknowledging the good that you already have in your life is the foundation for all abundance."

πŸ‘‰ So, this week, I encourage you to take a moment each day to express gratitude towards someone you care about. It could be as simple as sending a thoughtful text or writing a heartfelt note. These small gestures can have a big impact on our relationships.

Remember, expressing gratitude not only benefits those around us, but it also helps us feel more connected and fulfilled in our own lives.
