Hi First name / there,
Let’s talk about every woman’s favorite subject: Menopause.
Whether you have kids or not, every woman goes through this transition in their life when they can no longer have children, which means our bodies change.
As always,
menopause looks entirely different for every woman. Some experience severe symptoms that they suffer from throughout the day, and some women don’t experience many symptoms at all. This is why the clients we work with experiencing menopausal symptoms receive an
individualized treatment plan based on their symptoms, personal constitution, and their lifestyle.
Most women start experiencing symptoms between 45-55, lasting up to 14 years!
If you’re not sure what menopausal symptoms look like, here are the most common:
👉Hot flashes and night sweats
👉A dry vagina
👉Mood swings
👉Disruptive sleep patterns
Are you experiencing any of these? If you are, don’t worry ~ we got you!
Here are our best tips for navigating these common symptoms and how to make them a little less miserable:
🥑Maintain a healthy, balanced diet of phytoestrogen-rich foods like organic soy and flaxseed.
🌱Consult with a certified
Ayurvedic practitioner on herbal supplements that will help you manage symptoms and balance hormones (Ask before taking unfamiliar supplements or changing your supplement regimen).
🌬️Meditation, mindfulness, and breathing techniques will keep you grounded and deeply connected to your inner self. Embrace what your body is doing and grow with it, not against it.
🧘Engage in yoga or light exercise to keep the body moving and limber. This is also a strong stress reduction technique and can help alleviate the severity of hot flashes.
🌵Acupuncture has also been proven to reduce hot flashes by over 36%, according to the Menopause journal.
Unfortunately, we can’t avoid this experience, but we can make it less miserable.
We hope this was insightful and provided a little more comfort to knowing that menopause can be manageable and NOT miserable.
Until next week,
