March is Women’s History Month, and on March 8th, we celebrate International Women’s Day. It’s wonderful to see the many initiatives supporting Gender Equality in Italy, a topic we support at Easy Milano.

 

Just this month, Co-founder Aaron Pugliesi, who is currently the Secretary General & CEO of The British Chamber of Commerce for Italy and Co-Chair of BCCI DE&I Action Champion Network, led a conference at Villa Wolkonsky alongside HM Ambassador Edward Llewellyn OBE and other distinguished guests. Similarly, our other Co-founder, Amie Louie, serves as Global VP for the Professional Women’s Network (PWN). This month, you will find published in Easy Milano, PWN Global’s International Women’s Day event sponsored by Clifford Chance, which will host a panel of speakers discussing the topic of Gender Balance on Corporate Boards. In addition, on a local level, one of PWN’s 27 City Network in Milan will be launching its Mentoring Program on March 15th. Strong mentorship can provide an advantage for any professional at any career level.

 

We are glad to highlight other events such as these, as well as services from Women’s Empowerment Coach and connections to groups such as the Women’s Society Milan, the Benvenuto Club and Black Women Milan (BWM).
