PROJECT UPDATE
Opening Grades
Opening grades have been occurring on Shire roads within Etheridge Shire. These works are progressing ahead of schedule, and are 65% complete.

GENERAL MEETING UPDATES

MARCH
  • Council nominated three funding priorities to Hon Bob Katter for 2023/24 Commonwealth Budget Submission
  • Council received the Queensland Audit Office Report for the Conduct of Council 2021-2022 Audit
  • Council adopted the North West Regional Biosecurity Plan developed by Southern Gulf NRM
  • Council adopted the RADF Advisory Committee's recommendation to approve funding for the applications recommended
  • Council accepted the tender from RGM Maintenance for the purchase of three 8 x 4 tippers, one with a water tank fitted and one Prime Mover
  • Council accepted the tender from Cole Motor Group for the purchase of two Ferris Zero Turn Mowers

COUNCIL PROJECTS

Tourism Experience Development Fund
Etheridge Shire Council has been the recipient of a Tourism Experience Development Fund to promote further the Shire as an iconic tourism destitnation through the implementation of new pavilions and landmarks. 
 
Griffith University are currently conducting consultation with community. If you would like to participate but were unable to attend the community consultation meetings, please contact Council.
