Hi First name / love, If you've been around here for while, you've probably heard me gush about my BFF and business partner, Taylor Elyse Morrison. Taylor is a writer, facilitator, and self-care expert. She works with Fortune 100 companies, runs her own awesome business, and has taught me so much about how to integrate endless ambition with bountiful rest. And this week her first book comes out! 🎊 |

If that glowing endorsement isn't enough to make you want to spend $20 on the book, I've also prepared something special just for you all! Last week, Taylor and I recorded a radically vulnerable chat about book publishing, community care, trusting our timing, and sitting in the mess. And the only folks who get to hear that chat are you babes on this list! Click here to listen. It's only 30 minutes long, but I promise that half-hour is full of deep and delicious wisdom for your spirit. |

And just in case listening to conversations isn't your thing… here's one of my fave excerpts from our chat— My tendency is to want to do things as quickly as possible and get this instantaneous result. But taking the time, whether it's a book or a collaborative project or whatever it might be—allowing something to take more than an hour to create and be longer than a 15-second clip is so needed. Because there's no shortage of knowledge right now. If you want to know how to do something—like if you want to know how to tackle your anxiety, you can look on Instagram under #anxiety. You can go on YouTube and watch a video. You can look on Pinterest, and you'll find like here are five tips that you can do. That's a pretty small gap to go from not knowing how to do something to knowing. But that gap between knowing and doing and being and integrating is so large. And it takes time. But the self-help industry, the publishing industry, social media, the world… we're not really interested in things that take time anymore. And I think it's really radical to allow things to take time and to invite other people into the process. |

OK, thanks for letting me gush over my friend, First name / babe. I hope you enjoy our behind-the-scenes chat, and if you're a business owner, please consider joining Taylor and I in the Lifestyle Business League! Next month I'll send you an essay sharing my reflections on two whole years off of social media. Until then, check the box below for ways we can work together. ♡ |
