Action Items for Intersectional Feminists

Flavia Dzodan wrote the spectacular essay (linked above at the quote) over a decade ago to help process her anger at white feminists ignoring or even defending racism in order to advance their version of feminism. It's a fantastic piece and I hope you take 5 minutes to read it. The quote came to me over the last couple of weeks as I've watched attacks across the world against brown and black women, trans women, and poor women be ignored by the media and by many of my self-professed feminist peers. I know we've got a lot going on, y'all, but our feminism must be intersectional or it will be bullshit. Mixed in with our news this month I'm providing resources so you can get involved in the fight for dignity and safety for all women.

WOMAN, LIFE, FREEDOM
Iran continues to commit human rights abuses against women, girls, and their allies. Now we're learning that there have been chemical attacks on girls' schools across the country, with hundreds of girls falling ill, parents being kept from their hospitalized children, and no real investigations into the perpetrators.
