I want to add value to your organizing journey. I'll keep my emails short and sweet, focusing on inspiration, tips and resources. You can expect to receive my email on the second Tuesday of each month. I welcome your feedback and ideas. Let's get into it!
Traveling with the littles
Last month, I took a weekend trip to Tuscaloosa, Alabama, to visit one of my best friends and her family. The travel involved driving from Milwaukee to Chicago, flying to Birmingham, and driving to Tuscaloosa, a total of 15 hours with my three-year-old in tow! Admittedly the travel was intense for such a quick trip, yet living organized made it stress-free. Here are a few reasons why:
1) Packed with intention
I've made a conscious effort to pack light, especially for quick trips. If something is missing, it's easy to grab it from a nearby store. Watch this
reel with my packing tips.
2) Stayed ready to entertain
Parents know we must stay steps ahead of our children. A new doll, refreshed iPad games, coloring books, crayons, colored pencils, and markers (all the options) kept my daughter busy. In particular, I love this storage
clipboard for travel.
3) Re-packed for reset
Although I've had times where I don't unpack for days, it's not my preference. Managing our used clothing with a
mesh laundry bag and folding clean clothing as I do at home makes it easy to reset upon return. On trips where our entire family travels, we dedicate one piece of luggage for used clothing.
