Clara's Travel Tips
Planning Outfits
Some people check the menu before they go to a new restaurant, but I always check their Instagram location tag to get a feel for the vibe & what other people usually wear there. Tomato tomato, right?
Leaving Room
I'm self aware enough to know that I'll be shopping on a trip, so I leave room in my luggage (and my outfit plan) and sometimes even bring a foldable duffle or expandable tote if things could easily get out of hand. 
Lost Luggage
I've never had my suitcase go MIA (thankfully, knock on wood) but I always tuck an AirTag in my bags just in case & snap a pic of exactly what's going in each piece of luggage so theres no disputes about what needs to be replaced if anything goes wrong!
Backup Plans
I love a good itinerary but it's hard and impractical to plan every second of a trip. I keep a note of restaurants, coffee shops, and other spots that interest me so if there's an open meal or afternoon to kill there's already a list of ideas ready to go.
Itineraries
Speaking of itineraries, you don't have to be a graphic designer to have a cute custom itinerary for your next trip. Just search “itinerary” on Canva and tweak some of their templates to suit your own event. 
Phone Prep
I'm a firm believer in prepping your phone, too. Clear some room in your camera roll, make sure your ride share payment methods are up to date, confirmation numbers are handy, & don't forget your portable charger!
