A quick recap
Yesterday we talked about time savers, efficiency and hacks!

  • Our group shared that it takes anywhere from 30 to 60 hours to build a website (not including branding).
    • Further investigation on social media and I got a few more answers with designers landing on 25-32 hours.
  • The two things that seem to take the longest are problem solving and communicating with clients.
  • Templates - like a welcome pack, presets within our sites, and code resources saved for future use - were the biggest time savers.
  • We talked about the pros and cons to outsourcing and automation as possible solutions and time-savers.
    • Spoiler alert: Automation works - but a robot can't do everything. Solving communication problems manually is still required.
  • We chatted about ways to save time when creating content to show off our work - like blurbs and photos that can work across multiple mediums.
