For this month's mini challenge, I invite you to join in on Inktober!
Inktober is a daily
"month long drawing challenge created by artist Jake Parker that is focused on improving skill and developing positive drawing habits. Every day for the month of October anyone participating in the Inktober challenge creates an ink drawing and posts it online." Jake creates an official prompt list for each year and I love seeing all the different ways artists interpret each word!
This month, I will be participating in Inktober and I hope you will too! I find the idea behind Inktober aligns very much with Better Letters In 15 and while we are used to drawing letters over here, I think this challenge can help us think outside of the box and spark new ideas!
Try spending 15 minutes a day on it, even if it's a quick sketch. I have found that doing just one small thing daily really makes a difference when it comes to staying inspired and staying in touch with our creative sides! If daily doesn't sound like it'll work try setting aside some time each week to draw that week's prompts.
You can find more details and all the prompts here:
Inktober I've joined in before (that's where the photos are from) and had so much fun! I think I'll be following the same format but we'll see how it unfolds :)
Let me know if you'll be participating so I can follow along!
If this doesn't feel like your thing, I wanted to share one more project for you to try this month--pumpkin lettering!
