Step #2. Expanding your adoption network gives you the ability to work with multiple adoption agencies and attorneys!

CAC refers clients to multiple agencies. Using this multi-agency approach helps provide greater exposure to available adoption situations and can cut the wait time. The typical 2-3 year wait in domestic adoption is usually dramatically shortened.

Your Adoption Network
CAC has established a network of ethical adoption agencies, attorneys, and home study providers throughout the US. We provide our clients with referrals to these trusted adoption professionals and recommend using a multi-agency approach.

ETHICS MATTER!
We believe in ethical adoption practices and the highest level of care for all parties in the adoption triad.
ETHICAL ADOPTIONS

Transparency, Adoption Ethics, & Standards
Founded on Christian principles and standards, we believe in ethical adoption practices and the highest level of care for all parties in the adoption triad: the adoptive family, the expectant/birth family, and the child.

We offer complete transparency by providing our clients with the agencies’ names and contact information. In addition, clients are provided with social and medical histories and other important information regarding each adoption situation. After carefully reviewing the situations and assessing the risks, our clients can choose whether they feel comfortable moving forward with the adoption or not.

CAC Ethical Standards & Values

We help our clients research and evaluate adoption situations on a case-by-case basis to carefully assess the risk. We also vet the adoption agencies and attorneys we work with and hold them to a high standard of excellence and care for adoptive and expectant/birth families. In some cases, agency research and screening takes over a year to complete.

CAC Consultants are required to complete 20+ hours of training annually and follow strict company standards and guidelines for ethical adoption practices.

Still have questions? Here's answers to FAQs:
What is the average cost for domestic adoption?
The truth is, adoption is costly. The average domestic infant adoption in the United States is generally between $40-60K. Each adoption agency has its own business model with certain business expenses including overhead and employment cost which is driven in some cases by location. International adoption costs even more, often due to the added travel expenses. Understandably, this is a staggering amount to most families.

Why is adoption so costly?
There are many legitimate costs to adoption to ensure that the adoptive family, birth family, and the child are getting quality care throughout the process.

Typical agency fees include the following expenses: administrative fees, expectant/birth parent care, medical costs, social service costs, legal fees, advertising fees, and Interstate Compact Placement Children fees.

In addition to the agency fees listed above, additional fees can include travel, post-placement supervision, and possible finalization cost.

Why do adoption costs vary?
Some agencies charge a flat fee that covers all expenses. Other agencies break the fees down into the typical categories mentioned above. Each adoption agency and adoption attorney have their own fee structure and each adoption has its own unique expenses involved which can vary. CAC helps clients review their agency’s fee structure and make sure they understand the “at risk” monies prior to matching.

how can we fund our adoption?
There’s not a magic formula for funding your adoption because it’s unique for each family based on a multitude of factors. Your CAC Consultant will provide you with some specific advice and recommendations for your family and financial situation. In addition, the CAC Adoptive Parent Guide provides clients with an entire financing section including a specific list of adoption grants available for families.
