Good morning!
Did you know? The Okanagan Valley DVA produces more than 80 percent of the province's output and is the second most prolific wine region in Canada, behind Ontario's Niagara Peninsula. There are more than 185 licensed grape wineries and 8,830 acres (3,575 hectares) of vineyards that produce some unique wines made from Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Riesling, Pinot Noir, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris and Chardonnay.
If you're now thirsty for some wine, you'll enjoy this newsletter as we just got back from a winter road trip in the Okanagan and have some fresh videos and travel guides for you to enjoy.
So without further ado, enjoy the 111th edition of the Weekly Goose, which features a video about the Okanagan in the winter, a travel guide to Penticton, a travel guide to Oliver, and more!
