Two days before starting high school in Houston, I found out I was moving to Italy for a year. Not speaking a word of Italian and not knowing anyone, I arrived in Lake Como to begin an experience that changed the course of my life. I developed a love for travel that inspired me to volunteer in Israel, sail around the world, live in Prague, and guide over 50 Backroads trips throughout Europe and South America. 60+ countries later… I've started my biggest professional adventure yet. Bluestone Travel specializes in unique, luxury travel experiences for individuals, families and groups seeking exciting and meaningful cultural immersion opportunities around the world, especially in remote and logistically challenging destinations.
In 2022, we partnered with the Houstonian Club to offer an exclusive hiking trip for Houstonian members in the Italian Dolomites. Trips were sold out with waitlists and feedback was exceptional. Our newest “Best of Chile Trip” is set to launch in April with another sold out group who will explore Patagonia, the Atacama Desert, and the areas around Santiago. In addition to Chile and the Dolomites, our clients have trips planned to Lake Como, Portugal, Bhutan, Tuscany, Mallorca, Morocco, France, the Amalfi Coast and more.
