Let’s cleanse for Spring!

It’s officially Spring, and we’re here for it!
 
As the flowers start to bloom, it’s paramount that you begin to embrace this transitional period and start cleansing for Kapha Season 
 
Kapha Season in Ayurveda is the known period at the end of Winter through early Spring when the elements of earth and water are heavy, cool, moist, stable, and we start to feel sluggish and slow. Aligning and cleansing your mind, body, and spirit at this time is vital to ensuring that your body transitions best to this new season.
 
To spring cleanse, here’s what we recommend:
🥝 Maintain a simplified diet. Eat those foods that are fuel for your mind and body (mung beans, rice, foods rich in fiber or astringent).
🍽️ Prepare and consume food with intentional mindfulness.
🪔 Use Abhyanga daily or weekly (essential oil massage).
🧘 Engage in low-impact movement such as yoga, pilates, walking, and stretching.
