BEAVER BITES

  • Two Canadian properties are among the top 15 that made AFAR’s annual Stay List this year. The travel list, which started in 2019, judges properties on elements such as design, comfort and sustainability. The two properties include Indigenous-owned Klahoose Wilderness Resort in BC and the luxurious Muir Hotel in Halifax.

  • While we highly doubt Cadomin will become the next Canmore (it's much further from a major city for one), this Alberta hamlet does believe it will become a flourishing tourist destination in years to come.

This is quite the embarrassment for a country like Canada.

  • Here's another one for the travellers that love TV shows. For the first time, a Canadian fossil has been confirmed as having come from the Ice Age predator featured in the TV series Game of Thrones.
