APRIL ROUNDUP

April typically is the month when the growing season really starts to ramp up for the year - and with winter simply refusing to give up its hold in the province and springtime melt having been dramatically slow, early seeding plans may be on hold. There’s still optimism for warmer weather and continued moisture on the horizon.

However, with Alberta weather, there is always a dose of uncertainty for what mother nature has in store for us.

Everyone will handle the stress and uncertainty differently - so here are a few conversation starters to check in with your family, friends and neighbours.
CONVERSATION STARTERS
  • How are you holding up?

  • I’ve been thinking about you
a lot - how are you doing?

  • What’s on your mind or worrying you right now?

  • How are you handling things at the moment?

  • What can I do to support you right now?
