Today we are releasing new workshops and events for May, and you are the first to know about them! It's a good mix of things to make in our workshops, and things to do at our events, so gather your friends and sisters, or make a date with yourself to do something creative here at Bella.

Let's celebrate spring with fresh herbs at the ready for in your kitchen. Stop in any time between 10 am and 4 pm and pot up an herb in an aged terra cotta pot. Finish it off with a chalkboard plant marker. Select from basil, mint, oregano, and parsley. These would make a great Mother's Day gift, too! Cost: $15.

Join us Sunday mornings before the shop is open for some social stitching! (First Sunday of the Month) Do you want some dedicated knitting time with friends? Do you need uninterrupted time to stitch (aka no kids, hubby, or tv)? Bring your crochet, knitting, cross-stitch projects that you are working on, or one you've been wanting to start, and enjoy the creative process here at our cozy shoppe.
We are excited to partner with KK Photography for this special opportunity. Schedule an appointment to have a portrait taken and give as a Mother's Day gift! Moms, you know how you are rarely in the photos with your kids? Book a session with your kiddos. Dads, bring the kids and surprise Mom with their photos. Or how about a three generation photo? Grandmas and their grandkids, family portraits. . . Each 15-minute session will be held in the privacy of our large loft here at Bella.
Come make your own bracelet with semi-precious beads. Barb with Soft Line Designs will be here to guide you in your selection and share their special meanings. You will string the beads yourself, and Barb will finish it off with a self-closing clasp that makes an easy on/off without help. Make one for you and one for Mom as a gift for Mother's Day!
Our popular pressed flower bookmark class is back! Make three resin bookmarks using pressed flowers and leaves provided or bring your own pressed flowers. Bookmarks need to be left at the shoppe overnight to set, and picked up within a week. PLEASE NOTE WE BEGIN AT 9 AM.
Join us for the first of what we hope to be many literary teas. If you love books and tea, this is for you! The theme for our first tea is Jane Austen - of course! Tickets go on sale Monday, May 1 at noon.
