Good News
It may feel like the world is running down (making the best of what's still around) but there's still more positivity than I can fit into one monthly newsletter! As always, if you know of a story I've missed, please respond to this email or message me on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, or LinkedIn

Oh, aging. For a while there, it was like my skin was perpetually in Palm Springs — dry and desiccated no matter what I put on it. So I developed a quick-and-easy, clean beauty, anti-aging night hydration routine that really does work wonders — and together, these three products cost less than $25 at Trader Joe's! (This post is not sponsored, nor did I receive free products from TJs.)
By Design
Allbirds announces the world’s first net-zero carbon sneaker made from carbon-negative wool and sugarcane foam. A commercial-scale textile-to-textile pulp mill opens in Sweden — and circularity ensues. And all stores should have a fix-it department, especially for clothes.

P.S. Are you in LA? Check out my new story, Westside’s Thrift Store Hotspots, on Bluedot!
Reuse Revolution
I had no idea the Body Shop refills products. Can we get this in White Musk circa 1992, please? Whole Foods Colorado locations pilot reusable self-serve and I can’t wait to see this everywhere! Wouldn't you totally choose this reusable pizza container over a non-recyclable (because: dirty) paper box? And in France, McDonald’s customers obsessed on the mignon reusable packaging — why not do this everywhere?
Climate critical
Great news for the range anxious: “Supercharger” ports for EVs will increase 60x over the next two decades in North America and, in the U.S., 7,500 Tesla “supercharger” stations will open to all EVs by the end of 2024. Oh, and if you’re in Europe: All gas-powered cars will phase out by 2035

190 countries agreed to protect marine life in the high seas (the last time an international agreement to protect the ocean was reached was in 1982). Oh, give me a home where the buffalo roam: Rewilding key regions could remove 500 gigaton of CO2 by 2100. Long used to thwart communities that sought to ban single-use plastic products like shopping bags, preemptive bans are now working in renewable energy’s favor. Finally, research shows that empowering women is climate action, and if you need some light at the end of this dark-ass tunnel, this story is for you
