THE HEALING PHASE
“The healing phase” is the time when your hair is transitioning from traditional hair care products to Monat treatment systems.
 
WHY IS IT NECESSARY?
Monat works to remove the build-up of silicones, waxes, parabens, and other chemicals left behind from other products. Over time, traditional hair care products build up on hair strands, covering the true quality of the hair.
 
HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?
The healing phase varies in length for everyone depending on the products you use prior to Monat, the type of hair you have, etc. Some people never experience a healing phase at all.
 
WHAT TO EXPECT
Build up removal comes in many different forms but you many experience a waxy feeling, frizzy hair, dry hair, itchy scalp, or some hair shedding.
 
HOW TO GET THROUGH IT?
STICK WITH IT! There are MANY tips and tricks to get through the healing phase faster and navigate easier.
 
** From in-shower products, to styling products, to treatment products, it is extremely important to only be using Monat. When you mix traditional hair care products with Monat you are adding the waxes, silicones, chemical straight back into your hair completely undoing what Monat is working to remove. Ask for help, get a clarifying shampoo, don't quit!

SO WHAT IS A FLEXSHIP?
I like to explain your flexship as if you were putting an item on hold at a store, except better. In short, this flexible perk as my VIP customer allows you to edit your cart AND change the shipment date, at anytime. Not to mention, you get a FREE product and FREE shipping with every qualifying flexship order.
 
HOW TO MANAGE YOUR FLEXSHIP
What if you don't want to order? This perk also allows you to push your flexship out 60 days max. However, you may do this at any point, as many times as you would like. Once you complete your 3 flexship orders, you may cancel your flexships all together. Meaning you can just order whenever you want without an active flexship.
If you decide to no longer have a flexship, you will not receive a free product with your order. You will still receive your 15% discount, purchase plus discount, and access to all flash sales.
 
 
 
FLEXSHIP REMINDER:
Monat will always send you an email one week prior to your scheduled flexship date. You will be able to log into your account at this time, push your flexship date back if you choose, or adjust the products in your cart and leave the date as is - remember with each qualifying flexship order you will always receive one free OFY product as well - I recommend always having your flexship the first week of the month, that way you get your free product before it's sold out.

A: A qualified flexship order is $84 or more VIP pricing
 
Q: WHAT IS THE VIP COMMITMENT TO WHEN JOINING THE VIP CUSTOMER PROGRAM?
A: By becoming a MONAT VIP Customer, and joining the VIP Customer Program, you agree to the following: a. You must pay a one-time USD 19.99 Enrollment Fee. b. Create one enrollment order and one additional Flexship order of USD 84 or more; and c. You must reside in the United States, a U.S. Territory, or any country that MONAT has officially announced is open for business. MONAT reserves the right to deny or terminate any VIP Customer account.
 
Q:WHAT IS THE COST TO CANCEL THE VIP CUSTOMER AGREEMENT OUTSIDE OF THE ABOVE TERMS?
A: By joining MONAT’s VIP Customer Program, you agree to purchase 2 qualifying Flexship orders of USD $84 or more after your initial Enrollment order. Monat will assess the following cancellation fees if you do not complete the minimum lifetime requirement of 2 qualifying Flexship orders of USD 84 or more after your initial Enrollment order: 
• USD 25 = Enrollment order only completed
 • USD 19 = Enrollment order + 1 Flexship order completed 
If you cancel your VIP Customer account within the first 30 days of receiving your product, your enrollment fee of USD 19.99 is refundable. After the first 30 days of receiving your product, your enrollment fee of USD 19.99 is nonrefundable. VIP Customers who enrolled after March 1, 2022 are not subject to cancellation fees of any kind.
