JUNE 2023
Campaign update
Where in the World Are McCarthy & Wong?!
As Ana McCarthy and Lily Wong kicked off their campaign for Bernards Township Committee last month, they also kicked off what promises to be an informative and engaging “Listening Tour.” The first-time candidates hope to leave the interests of no residents, businesses, congregations, or constituencies untapped or unheard. They plan to make their way through the township with ears wide open, to truly listen to, understand and address key community needs and concerns.
So where have they been so far?
  • The Bernards Township Library, to celebrate its 125th Birthday!
  • A meeting of the Ridge High School Democratic Club
  • Congregation B’Nai Israel’s Spring Fling
  • The BTDC monthly meeting
  • UNICO’s “Live Like and Italian” heritage event
  • Our own Coackley Russo Golf Course, and Swing into Spring women’s event
  • Township Committee meetings
  • Board of Education meetings
  • Bernards Township’s Board of Adjustment meetings re: 150 Allen Road
  • Coffee with a Cop at Liberty Corner’s Riding Along bike shop
  • Charter Day!
