What's New With Us
April was a big travel month as we made our way back north to finish our snowbird trip. We began just north of Los Angeles, California, northeast to Las Vegas, Nevada, then north to Twin Falls, Idaho, and northwest towards Portland, Oregon. Major highways included Interstate 15, US Route 93 (AKA Great Basin Highway), and Interstate 84.

Visits included the Antelope Valley California Poppy Reserve, Primm Casinos, Pahranagat National Wildlife Refuge, Cathedral Gorge State Park, Sacramento Pass BLM Recreation Area, Great Basin National Park, Filer Idaho Fairgrounds, Farewell Bend on the Snake River, Wildhorse Casino, and Columbia Hills Historical State Park. Whew!

Snowbird Trip April Video Update
Plans are to return to Thunderbird RV Park in Campbell River, BC at least until early August. It's nice to relax in one place for a while. Love Campbell River and our campsite on the estuary. It's become our home base over the years. This will be our 10th summer in a row.

Once we get settled I'll publish a recap for the entire 6 month snowbird trip. Overall its been a fun trip. Truck and trailer performed well and we got to visit variety of new places and a selection of old favorites. Stay tuned.

Using AI to answer RVing questions.

Microsoft Bing now has a new AI chat mode that can answer questions. The answers aren't always 100% correct but not bad. I asked it a common question on how to sanitize an RV fresh water tank. It did pretty good and then provided additional links. Another popular one is Chat GPT.
