The CCA is making final preparations for the Foundations Student Conference this weekend. As you can see below, Foundations' presentation schedule is robust, with valuable information for students and upcoming graduates. We are excited to offer this opportunity to students and counselor educators!

Sponsorship opportunities are made available to all universities across Colorado. It is the CCA's hope that all counselor education students, faculty, and leadership choose to support the CCA's many initiatives, such as our legislative advocacy that directly benefits students and new counselors, CO-SAIGE, and the Interstate Compact. We are grateful for the universities that choose to find common ground with the CCA and advance mental health in Colorado.

  • Registration is open from 7:30am - 8:30am in Leprino Hall (Building D).
  • The conference is at Colorado Christian University, Leprino Hall, 8787 W. Alameda Ave, Lakewood, CO 80226.
  • Lunch is provided to all attendees.
  • It is best to enter through the west campus entrance, from Garrison St. See map below.
  • Parking is free, but a parking pass is required. Please print off and leave this parking pass in your car. Be sure to enter April 29th, 2023 as the date.
  • Keep an eye on the weather.

CCA student members and Foundations Conference Registrants,
 
The LGBTQ+ division of CCA, recently recognized as a state branch of the Society of Sexual, Affectional, Intersex, and Gender Expansive Identities (SAIGE) and updated to be Colorado SAIGE (CO-SAIGE), is excited to share that we will have representatives in attendance at the Foundations Conference on April 29th and we hope to see you there! 
 
Stop by the CO-SAIGE table to connect with current President, Dr. Stacy Pinto, and President-Elect, Jennifer Grubb. This will be a chance to just say hello or to learn more about how to engage with CO-SAIGE as we formally launch the division over the coming months. CO-SAIGE is committed to advocating for and promoting equity and inclusion of LGBTGEQIAP+ persons within and beyond the counseling profession.  We look forward to meeting you!
