Narcan Distributed to Ultra Music Festival Partygoers
Amidst the electric energy and pulsating beats of the Ultra Music Festival, an innovative initiative took center stage as F Fentanyl Inc. partnered with Yaya po Vida to distribute life-saving Narcan to partygoers. Recognizing the potential risks associated with drug use in festival settings, this forward-thinking collaboration aimed to prioritize safety and promote harm reduction. As attendees entered the festival, they were not only immersed in a euphoric atmosphere but also provided with a safety net, ensuring that if an overdose occurred, help was readily available. Through this proactive measure, F Fentanyl Inc. and Yaya por Vida demonstrated their unwavering commitment to the well-being of attendees, leaving a lasting impact on the festival  and setting a precedent for other South Florida events to follow.

FDA Approves Narcan for Over the Counter, F Fentanyl responds

Thomas Guerra, founder and CEO of F Fentanyl Inc, recently took time to do an interview with NBC 6. The topic of discussion centered around the game-changing announcement that Narcan, a life-saving medication used to reverse opioid overdoses, would now be available over the counter. Guerra's passionate voice resonated as he highlighted the immense significance of this development. He emphasized that easy access to Narcan empowers individuals and communities to take immediate action during critical moments, potentially saving countless lives.  The NBC 6 interview served as a platform to raise awareness and inspire action. Thomas also mentioned that he worries that cost may become a barrier and that funding to provide Narcan free of cost to individuals may be affected. (Not included in aired interview).

Street Outreach is Extending to Miami Beach with Decrim305 and Yaya por Vida
Image item
Why Miami Beach as our third city to serve next? This is Jonni’s (Decrim305) community and what used to be YaYa’s community too. Their is a veil of glamour, fun, and beach that covers the poverty, inequitable access to care, and chaotic, unsafe drug use here. As the summer begins, the parties are prominent, the weather is more harsh for our people on the streets and the help is still not there. Starting with a party street team monthly will allow us to be boots on the ground like we have and always will be interacting with the community and all walks of life. Whether you are out in SOBE having a great time or need to get out of the situation you are in we are here with no judgement - all love. Come volunteer with us on 05/05 for our harm reduction prep party and 05/06 for our first party street team outreach in SOBE .

New Support Meeting for Students

An exciting initiative has taken root as students from Florida International University (FIU) and the University of Miami (UM) join forces to establish a new Online All Recovery Meeting. This meeting provides a safe and inclusive space for students in recovery from substance use disorders, as well as those seeking support, to gather, share their journeys, and find strength in their shared experiences. This bold endeavor sets an inspiring example for other universities and showcases the commitment of these students to foster a culture of recovery and wellness on their respective campuses.
All are welcome in these free meetings. We honor all pathways to recovery – harm reduction, medication assisted recovery, 12-steps, SMART Recovery, yoga – any pathway that helps someone find and sustain recovery, no matter what recovery looks like to them. Recovery allies, family members and concerned others are welcome to participate.
