In desert places we’ve seen His living water begin to flow again, 
bringing new life into hardened hearts and hopeless situations.
 
 
Over the past few months, relationships have been restored, parched
hearts quenched, dried-out dreams revived & weary workers refreshed.

NEXT STEPS
 
We are so proud of a young woman in our Restoration Programme who has one month left before she moves into the integration phase. She’s worked incredibly hard through the detox process and intensive counselling to get her to where she is today. She is ready and prepared to pursue her dream of becoming a teacher. Thank you Lord for your hand upon her life and that of her young daughter.
A BITTER-SWEET SEASON
 
A precious lady who we’ve been on a long journey with had some very hard news recently… Soon after she had finished an intense course of chemo, they discovered that her cancer had returned. She's experienced so much breakthrough and overcome many hardships during her time in our care. We praise God for His work in her heart and life and for restoring broken family relationships for her. We pray that His living water will continue to bring wholeness to her body, heart & spirit.

CHERISHED JHB NORTH
 
Our JHB team experienced so many precious moments on their outreaches, building on their call to be more intentional with the ladies they meet. They had incredible God-designed interactions, including one beautiful soul who was feeling completely hopeless & suicidal. God stepped in as the team prayed for her. Her hope was renewed & she gave her life to the Lord. Many ladies were so receptive with two ladies specifically asking for prayer in a particularly dark venue. In another club, a group of ladies jumped up to join hands & pray together in the changeroom.
CHERISHED EAST RAND
 
The East Rand Team also did a double outreach this past quarter. On the first outreach, the ladies asked for prayer & were very receptive. The second outreach, although more closed in some ways, was still deeply impactful. Where hearts were open, the team prayed for the ladies & felt God’s touch on them. Two girls at different venues actually came running to them asking for prayer. How incredible! A manager even thanked them for the great work they’re doing & asked them to pray for a specific lady. The team’s driver prayed again for a bouncer who they’re really forming a bond with.  
CHERISHED MIDDELBURG
 
The Middelburg Team braved loadshedding and adverse weather to reach God’s daughters on the streets. And what an amazing time followed! Many ladies recognised them and received them warmly. One lady came to church for 3 weeks (and counting) which is such a testimony in itself, even bringing her sister along each time. Let’s continue to pray for open hearts, genuine interactions and God-inspired encounters.

We believe God will bring Cherished into this good land. We pray that we 
would continually come to the river of living water, so that we may be refilled, 
refreshed & ready to bring His love and hope to His precious daughters.
