Hi First name / friend,

We pray you are blessed and experiencing breakthrough where you find yourself today! Jesus has been doing a mighty work in May and June. Thank you for taking a few moments to read how God has been moving. It has been weeks and weeks of God showing Himself in fresh ways as we wrap up a season of filming in Puerto Rico with Youth For Christ Puerto Rico + started our heavy editing season. As we reflect on all God has done, we sit in the wonder and vastness of the Holiness of our Lord! He is worthy to be trusted with all we have and our firm foundation!
“There is none holy like the Lord: for there is none besides you; there is no rock like our God.”
‭‭1 Samuel‬ ‭2‬:‭2‬ ‭

Full-Circle Moments, it is incredible how the Lord connects. About a year ago, Laura and Daniel (National Directors for YFCPR) had messaged our ministry Facebook page to just say hello, share words of encouragement and hear more of our heartbeat for the ministry. It was through a dear friend reposting our launch video the day before that they had seen what God was starting through Por Siempre Ministries. Since then, we have been able to grow together not only along Daniel + Laura but their staff who now is like family to us.

When God is in it, you do not need years of knowing each other for the Lord to connect hearts together for divine purpose. Thank you YFCPR for believing in out little family of three, this ministry in sharing testimonies of how God moves in the impossible, and seeing our hearts behind what we do.

Testimony from Brazil…
Meet Maria and her son from the Village of Muru Muru along the Amazon River!
Testimony written by Sara
Language is no obstacle.  While in Brazil, we had the incredible honor of partnering with Hope For Brazil Ministries. It was one of our first nights while in the Amazon Region, I had a prayer time with the Lord to highlight someone tomorrow while we were serving. All I felt in my spirit was the word “yellow”. I laughed and said, “Okay God. Maybe that means yellow flip-flops or something.” I smiled and just awaited what the next day of ministry would have in store.

During the lunch break for the team serving in Convoy of Hope in the village of Maru Maru, there was a woman with a yellow shirt sitting nearby with her son. She was walking about the property of the school the event was being hosted to pass by time until the doctors and dentist opened up their stations once again. We made eye contact and she pointed to my stomach and was trying to ask me how many months I was in her native language of Portuguese (this village has a specific dialect that is almost impossible for them to understand)

I finished eating and was able to sit with Maria off to the side of the events to try to communicate with her with my very broken Portuguese-ish Spanish. I was shocked in the first few minutes of the conversation that she was able to understand me! I know this was no accident and the Holy Spirit was guiding this conversation. I began to explain how this gift of life within me is from Jesus, but there is an EVEN GREATER GIFTSalvation!

I began to unpack the Gospel and check in with her if she could understand me. Over the next 30 minutes, the Lord was ministering to her heart and making way for us to understand each other in order for Maria to hear the love of Jesus! At the end of our conversation, I asked if she would like to receive this free gift of salvation and accept Jesus as her best friend who will never leave us nor forsake us. She said YES and asked how she could do this! At that moment, I called over one of the lead missionary, Hana, to lead Maria in the Salvation Prayer.
Moment after Maria accepted Jesus as her Savior!
This moment marked me forever. Language is no barrier for the Lord to reach those who need to hear of His goodness. All glory to God for this miraculous moment. I pray that you are challenged to press into simply saying, God use me. Show me what you see!”. Even when the physical circumstance makes no sense such as our difference in language, if we are willing to trust the Lord… HE WILL MOVE!

I rejoice with all of Heaven as Maria begins her journey in following Jesus. In addition, my heart is filled knowing she will be discipled by the local pastor and begin growing in her faith. Please continue with me in prayer over her life as a major prayer is for her husband to know this joy of Jesus that she felt after giving her life to Jesus!

More Miracles, in the same Village of Muru Muru we were able to witness to others through Convoy of Hope. This ministry outreach brings dentists, doctors, physical therapists, and barbers/hairdressers to bring physical care to those in the community who do not have the resources to access these tools. Giovana shares her experience of seeing the hand of God move while people from the community received treatment from her. It is only through the love of Jesus that we are restored and made new. She shared that while with one patient seeking relief, after her treatment the pain was still there. All she knew was to pray, and then the Lord moved in a miraculous way. Our first response should be prayer, in this the patient after prayer was COMPLETELY HEALED in Jesus' name. We rejoice at the salvation that happened on this day and the mighty hand of Jesus healing physically!

Some of the HFB volunteers range from age 17-30 years old using their gifting such as medical/dental expertise and worship for the Glory of God! We are inspired by their “YES” to Jesus and how they serve him with such a fire.

Behind the Scenes, there has been many more physical healing and hearts mended by the power of the love of Christ. This camera is a simple tool we are honored to use to testify how God is still moving in miraculous ways. We are excited to begin editing this short-documentary focused on hope this coming month after getting all the missing pieces together from B-Roll, interviews, on-site ministry moments and more.

PERSONAL UPDATE
7 WEEKS UNTIL BABY!
Sara’s dad leading a prayer over River as arms are extended over mom + dad.

Prepping for our new team member, has begun as we are only few short weeks away. Sara is currently 33 weeks pregnant. We are thankful to be surrounded by such a strong community of family & friends to push us forward in prayer and love as our little boy arrives soon. Over the past two weeks we were able to be showered in Miami + Winter Garden by many. The greatest gift in this wild season has been being able to be covered by this body of believers. Thank you to many reading this for attending and extending your love to us since day one! We are blessed beyond measure for you!

Currently we are “grounded” until baby arrives and a bit after as we stay home until October 15th. Then we embark to the Netherlands to capture on film and share the love of Jesus. This will begin our amazing journey of life abroad sharing the gospel and partnering with others around the world as a family of three!

Please continue to join us in prayer as a family as we walk into the final weeks preparing for delivery and a healthy baby!

URGENT FINANCIAL NEEDS:
  • Passport Renewals + River’s First Passport Cost
    • In order for us to continue traveling on mission, we are needing to renew/apply for passports for us as a family. This one-time cost will be $400. Due to us beginning our travel as a family of three in October, we are needing to apply for ASAP.

  • Monthly Donors
    • Now, as a family of three, we currently have raised 25% as a family + ministry to be in full-time operation. In order to be fully-funded, we are asking family and friends for gifts of any amount that is placed on their hearts, through reoccurring giving. We believe that NO amount is too big or too small. The amount placed on your heart matters more than any sum. If you do not feel led to give, we ask for you to join us in prayer. Please pray that God would guide us as a ministry in capturing stories that point to the love of Jesus, protection on the mission field and guidance in this new season as a family!
