If you know me, you know that one of my favorite parts of traveling full-time is that I get to meet new animals in every country I visit! I’m currently in Málaga, Spain and I’ve quickly made friends with the local cats near my Airbnb. 

 

I was inspired by the cats roaming through the tropical foliage of Málaga, so I whipped up a brand new illustration mixing my inspiration from the local cats and my parents’ calico cat, Bali!

I can’t believe in over TWO YEARS of the #CreateWithCatCoq challenge that we’ve never done a cat illustration before! Not only are they one of my favorite animals, but as a different kind of “Cat”, I feel a special connection to them!

Animals are always good sellers from an art licensing perspective, so this is a great skill to learn so you can add more animals to your portfolio!
