10 Work at Home Companies Hiring This Summer 2023 - Most of them are temporary jobs for summer, and many are flexible, too!

 

20 Work at Home Jobs Paying $20 Hourly or MORE - If you need to earn a lot more than minimum wage, these companies pay well.

 

Work at Home Medical Transcription, Scribe, Billing, and Coding work - If you are interested in any of the above career paths (and there are many others offered in addition to these), CareerStep is the company I recommend for training. Their certificate programs can be completed online, entirely at your own pace. Most programs only take 6-8 months to complete. Payment plans offered!

 

 

Study.com - Online Research/Data Entry Assistant. US. Study.com is needing work at home researchers/data entry keyers. This position allows you to work whenever you want, no minimum or maximum number of hours required. Pay rate fluctuates depending on the project.

 

PressGaney - Bilingual Transcription Specialist. US. Must be bilingual Spanish/English. Previous typing or data entry skills are required as well as high school diploma or equivalent. Pay ranges between $28K and $31K yearly.

 

BrainPOP - Customer Support Associates. Many US states. Seasonal work lasting from June 2023 to October 2023. Must have at least one year of tech support/customer service experience. Pay starts at $45K yearly.

 

Swagbucks - (Extra Money) - I've been a member at Swagbucks since 2007. It's so easy — you just create an account (free) and then visit the site every day and do different things to let your virtual “bucks” add up for extra money. These buckscan be converted into Paypal cash or Amazon codes, whichever you prefer. You can earn by taking surveys, searching the web, watching videos, playing games, filling out offers, and more. They are super reliable with payments, too, and have to date paid out over $100,000,000 total in gift cards and rewards.

 

Cognia - Science Assessment Scorers. US. Temporary. You will read, evaluate, and assign scores to computer-imaged student responses to standardized test questions in science fields. Must have either a Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline or a Bachelor’s degree in another field AND successfully completed a minimum of two college courses in scientific fields. Pay is $18 hourly.

 

Format Services - Legal Transcription Proofing Specialist. US. Full- or part-time. You would be responsible for proofreading and editing transcript. Weekday along with some weekend availability; schedule flexible. Must have 2+ years in a proof reading related position (eg. publishing editing, legal scopist, legal production QC, captionist, transcription). Pays $18 to $20 hourly.

 

Cornerstone Services - Customer Service Rep. Ohio, Indiana, or Kentucky (specific counties in these states). Full-time. You will be handling a high volume of inbound custome inquiries. Benefits offered after 90 days. Starting pay rate is $15 hourly.

 

User Interviews - This reputable company conducts research studies paying $50 or more for your time. They are always looking for new respondents.

 

Cambly - Online English Tutors Needed ($250 welcome bonus)! Cambly is hiring independent contractors from around the world to help English learners practice their conversational English in online lessons! To tutor with Cambly, you'll need to be a native English speaker, have a laptop or computer, and have a reliable internet connection. The pay rates range between $10.20-$12.00 per hour with regular bonuses on the weekends. Plus, you'll earn a $250 welcome bonus when you sign up and chat for 10 hours within your first 10 days!

 

Super Summary - Literature Study Guide Writers. Possibly worldwide. Must commit to write two or more study guides per month. Must have excellent writing skills. A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in English or a related field is necessary for every SuperSummary study guide writer. Pay rate not given.

 

WEBTOON Entertainment - Freelance ghostwriters. Possibly worldwide. You’ll be given a detailed chapter outline to bring life to some of the narratives on their app. An average chapter length for our stories is 2,000 - 2,500 words and writers are paid by the chapter. Must be fluent in English and have experience in creative fiction writing. Pay is $75 a chapter.
