Happy Friday First name / sweet friend, !
Every project really is emotional, and this entry way is no different. And it feels good to FINALLY say it is (semi)complete! It has been a long time coming (6 months to be exact) and I cannot thank you enough for your dedicated patience. I'm trying to give myself grace during this season of juggling a newborn, a toddler and all of life's responsibilities. I completely overestimated my abilities in navigating home projects, while even more importantly, working on my own healing journey. So I guess what I am trying to say is thank you for understanding and for cheering me on along the way! If you saw that semi word up there, after completing everything I now have a HUGE struggle😅. The third picture below is throwing me off big time and is making all this hard work feel very unfinished.
If you remember I mentioned this entry way is ‘connected’ to the staircase to the upstairs, the lack of no distinct cut off on the wall for the garage door to the upstairs makes it feel incomplete to me, if that makes sense. (see below) So here are a few ideas I have and would love any suggestions you may have:
- Paint the stairway walls to “match” the new entry vibe
- Paint the door and the trim around the door to tie it in
- Send me your suggestions ASAP! 😆
