Chronic pelvic pain and endometriosis negatively impacts quality of life. A recent study (Eisenberg et al., 2022) showed that women with endometriosis were more likely to also have infertility, cardiovascular and gastrointestinal disease. The cost of care was significantly greater for women with endometriosis.
