Thinking about planting a garden this spring?
Lets talk about a few factors and tips to keep in mind! 
Like when is the best time to start planting?
 
The best time to plant a garden depends on several factors, including your location and the type of plants you want to grow. In general, most vegetables and herbs are best planted in the spring after the last frost has passed and the soil has warmed up. This is typically between late March and early June, depending on your geographic location. However, some plants, such as cool-season vegetables like peas and kale, can be planted earlier in the spring. On the other hand, warm-season crops like tomatoes and peppers are typically planted in late spring or early summer when the soil and air temperatures are warmer. It's important to research the specific planting times for the plants you want to grow in your area and to consult a local gardening expert or agricultural extension office for guidance.

Copperleaf's Story
CopperLeaf opened 17 years ago in September of 2006. Cheryl Estes started with a single downtown building (209 N. Main) and gradually expanded into the 2 building next to it, adding a full hair salon & esthetics department, and Directional Wellness, and medical spa.
 
Ashlen Day bought the CopperLeaf side of the business in January of 2023 after working for the company for 5 ½ years. She started as a part time front desk receptionist and grew into management. She found she loved this industry, and coming from 3 generations of business owners, it just made sense to step into entrepreneurship. 
 
While not a Winnsboro native, she loves this town and the people in it and has grown to know many of the locals that frequent her business. They're like family!
