This week is all about getting our fabrics together. Are you going to create a gradient? Are you going scrappy? Are you pulling from your stash or using a kit? I cannot wait to see what you all come up with.
In the welcome email there was a link to a list of kits available from different online shops. There are some really great ones out there! Here is the list again - with a new addition - San Diego Sewn - definitely check them out.
Did you know that my patterns are available on QuiltInk.com for digital coloring? You can test out different colorways or scrappy looks using a library of manufacturer basic solids to get an idea of that your quilt will look like. The service is completely free for you to use. You don't even need an account! I do, however, recommend that you create one so you can save your designs to your wall and revisit them. I've used Quilt Ink to create a mock up of the quilt I am creating during this sew along. I'm using all Kona Solids that I ordered from Pear Tree Market. See it below.
