Dear First name / friend

“ 'Spring has sprung’ here in Fallbrook, Bonsall & Southern California."  I wrote that a year ago (in April, actually).

Things are definitely different weather wise this year. May Grey turned to June Gloom and the prediction is that it will continue.

I often say to students “look for the good” when reviewing their progress – did they learn something? did they experience anything new? did a new muscle make itself known?

All part of the awareness Yoga brings to our lives.

So, what can I find ‘good’ about this weather? Well, our water bill is ¼ of what it was last year. I also have many opportunities to wear the clothing I transported from Utah – warm, cozy clothing.

There's also a bit of change on my horizon: My office will move in June - just across the parking lot. A bit smaller space, but it will freshen up nicely thanks to the help of a friend and be ready for move in by the end of June. I'll keep you all posted as to a firm moving date.

In the meantime, I continue to see clients in my current space and teach 4 classes at Sage Yoga (Fallbrook & Bonsall - see below).

As always, the first session for my individual clients is a complimentary 30-minute ‘meet & greet’ – an opportunity to discuss and decide if I (and Yoga Therapy or individual instruction) are the right choice.

MY  PUBLIC  CLASS  SCHEDULE:
Mondays & Thursdays // 10:30-11:45am
Sage Yoga Fallbrook

Suitable for the student with a bit of experience, a desire to learn, and an appreciation for our potential.  Refine your alignment as flexibility, strength, and agility increase.  (Taught in the Anusara School of Hatha Yoga style.)

FOR MORE INFO ON THESE CLASSES GO TO:  SAGE YOGA STUDIOS

on my end table:
From Root to Bloom by Danna Faulds. I've immersed myself in the poems in this book and others by Ms. Faulds. First introduced to me by a good friend and student - I've included one poem below, as a sample.

Into The Water by Paula Hawkins (author of “Girl on The Train”). Just began this one; took me a minute to get into it, but I will finish it. It's got me curious.

FOR MORE LIGHT READING:
  1. Banana Split for breakfast, anyone?
  2. Cup of Jo newsletter — check out her trip to San Francisco, in particular her stay at Nick's Cove, Tomales Bay. I'm obsessed with this place !!!
  3. For those of you who ‘waste not, want not’ . . .
  4. And, don't forget my recent blog post is available for reading.

Until next time,
Leslie

Self-Acceptance"
In the midst of difficulty,
my curiosity is piqued
and I aim the lance of
self-inquiry into the
center of my deepest fears.

I give myself permission
to feel exactly what I feel,
to be just as I am, and in
that self-acceptance I find
energy, awareness, and a
thousand gifts I never
guessed were with me
all along
