SCHOLARSHIP Award Winner- This years outstanding musical student-artist was Mathew Murrary. He will receive one year of tuition for the private teacher of their choice from the FLC and the SEAK Foundation, Inc; a recording of the performance at the scholarship reception, and digital or hard copies of photos from the performance. |

Instrument Grant Award Winner- Congratulations Taryn Geiger! Our outstanding musical artist single performance grant award winner has been loaned FLC's own Jordan Hess 2020 violin for one year. Additionally Taryn will receive a FLC performance, a performance recording, and professional photo shoot to help boost the artist's CV and portfolio. Our website and social media will also showcase Taryn and her huge milestone, congrats! |

FLC's featured community partner The Local Art Plug (LAP) won Midlands African Chamber's Pitch Black Competition and the community investors pitch for a total of $15,000! Congratulations to LAP as this month's featured partner. LAP recently hosted its monthly Creatives & Coffees on Saturday, March 25, 2023. “DAMAGE HOUR!! FLC's community partner MUJERES de MÚSICA just finished their Mexico trip in Juarez, Delicias, and Chihuahua. FLC is proud to feature MUJERES de MÚSICA: Mexico to McCook Concert sponsored by the Omaha Public Schools Foundation and Omaha Chamber Music Society and FLC. This concert is free to attend and will feature Jazz, Mexican songs, and operatic arias. “Mexico to McCook Concert " at FLC by MUJERES de MÚSICA July 14, 2023 Opening at 7:30 PM.
