I hope everything is going well with you. Unfortunately, I'm dropping into your inbox today because everything isn't going according to plan for me. Publicly, I make an effort to focus on positive things, and rarely share personal troubles. But the truth behind my smiling public face is that I have been struggling with writing burnout for many months now. Then a wicked respiratory virus hit my household in May, and I still have not fully recovered. 

 

In a nutshell: I'm kind a mess right now.

 

I tried pushing through everything to get The Beast Within and Her Pipe Dream written, edited, and uploaded on time to meet my release date deadlines. This weekend, with both upload deadlines looming and neither book finished, I accepted that I can't do it. 

 

There were lots of preorders for both books, and I appreciate the support so, so much. To know that readers are waiting for these stories is such an honor.

 

Because I was not be able to meet my Amazon upload deadlines, I had to cancel the preorder for The Beast Within. If you preordered The Beast Within, rest assured that Amazon will not charge your account.

 

The Beast Within will release in July, but I don't have a specific date for it yet. It will be what we call a “live release” that doesn't have a preorder. I'll send an email out with the new Amazon link, and you'll be able to purchase your ebook or paperback that day and start enjoying it on the spot.

 

Her Pipe Dream is part of the Good With His Hands multi-author series, and the release date for the hunky plumber next door has been changed to July 27. 

 

I'm sorry to disappoint you and keep you waiting a few more weeks. I truly appreciate your patience and support. 💗
