Dear Friends~

I am feeling both humbled and inspired after our recent Strategic Planning retreat.

I'm humbled to reflect on the positive impact our organization has had on small businesses in rural Colorado. By providing access to capital we are making dreams become reality for so many entrepreneurs in Southwest Colorado. It's exciting to see these business take off and enrich the communities they serve.

I'm inspired to think about what is next for our organization. During the retreat, our leadership team and board of directors discussed the future of FSWCF, engaging in intensive discussions and strategic exercises to refine our programs, initiatives and investments to maximize the positive impact we have on the communities we serve.
I recognize summer is a busy time for everyone, but there are a few upcoming deadlines and events I'd like to share with you.

First, today is the deadline to apply for the OEDIT Business Foundations Technical Assistance Program. I encourage you to apply - there's a $1200 grant opportunity!

Second, join RMMFI on July 6th for a free information session about their upcoming Business Idea Lab program.

Last, if you're interested in learning more about the Senior Worker Upskilling Initiative, you have until July 3rd to sign up.

Details on these opportunities are below.

Please reach out to me at azarelmc@fswcf.org if you have questions about any of our loans, grants or education programs. Thanks for reading and sharing our work.

In gratitude,
