Hi First name / there, Welcome to my very first newsletter! I'm excited to finally connect with you in your inbox. While 2024 was filled with exciting opportunities and amazing client projects, I found myself caught in a familiar trap that many service providers might recognize: saying "yes" to everything! Though I had big plans, including launching this newsletter, the endless cycle of client work left little time for growing my own business. January has been a reset month where I've taken the time to update my website, organize my Notion (my digital brain) and think about how I want 2025 to go. While I'll continue taking on projects, I'm being more strategic with my scheduling to create space for content creation. This includes blogging, YouTube videos, regular newsletters, and creating resources and workshops. I want this newsletter to be a way we can stay connected and where I can keep you informed on the latest features, tools and resources in the Squarespace and tech/dev world ✨ |

Squarespace Circle Day 2024 |

One of the highlights of the year was being apart of Squarespace's Circle Day! I was invited to do a Site Showcase using the Adri template. I created a website for a fictional makeup studio and recorded a video going over the Squarespace features I used on the website. |

Another exciting development was launching my blog. After frequently receiving questions from web designers and clients, I decided to create a central hub where I could share my knowledge and insights with everyone. While I didn't post as frequently as I'd hoped in 2024, I'm making blogging a priority for this year. |

The first thing I did for my business this year was update my website including my portfolio which reminded me how many amazing projects I got to work on last year! For 2024 I fully focused on Squarespace Development projects which ranged from full custom builds to smaller site support. |

- State of the Web Design Industry Report: Squarespace gathered insights from over 1,000 Circle Members on topics such as their services, pricing, team size, creative fulfillment and the evolving role of AI. I found it really interesting to see the breakdown. Learn More.

- Squarestylist Selector Helper: Rache from Squarestylist has been creating such helpful tools lately and her newest one is a chrome extension that identifies CSS selectors as well as Block and Section ID's. I've already found this so useful and has been speeding up my workflow. Learn More.
