Hello dear First name / one,
It’s been a charged summer so far, and we’ve only just hit the halfway point!

While it feels like the volume has been turned up on almost every aspect of life, it’s imperative that we take any opportunity to check in with our internal systems.

Are you drinking enough water? Are you resting?
Are you trying to answer everyone’s questions or do ALL the things?
Do not underestimate the power of the pause.

Six months ago at the New Moon in Capricorn, we were offered the chance to explore our purpose and what drives our need for it. Capricorn loves to be of service, but they want to contribute something new, something creative, something better. We've had six months of exploring our relationship to productivity, and practicing what it feels like to let go of the “shoulds.”

Now, during the Full Moon in Capricorn, how have your goals flourished or changed? What projects did you start six months ago that have expanded or come to fruition? Perhaps you haven’t fully launched your business yet, but your relationships are in a much healthier place. Perhaps you have nurtured a hobby for making music into a daily ritual. The things you’ve accomplished for yourself are just as worthy of celebration and praise as the things you’ve shared externally.

Collectively, we’ve seen some radical uses of power lately and an amplification of redundant and—frankly—dangerous rhetorics. But we also see sharp and direct criticism of these antiquated paradigms. More and more folks are awakening to their capabilities and their capacity for change. After the last three years, change on an individual level is a lot less scary than it used to be for most folks. Empowerment is seeding growth in many directions.

If you’re still finding yourself shuffling your feet or freezing in the face of change, let’s talk! It’s totally fine to not be ready, it’s more important that you do things at your own pace. But if you are noticing a repeating pattern of stalling or circling back to the same place, let’s explore that together.

—Full Moon in Capricorn—
Tomorrow morning’s Full Moon in Capricorn will peak at 4:38 PDT/ 7:38 EDT, illuminating our creative contributions and giving us the opportunity to reflect on what we are in service to. How we show up in one arena is absolutely related to another. Remember, our experience informs our perspective which dictates our action. The way we show up in our contributions to the greater community is deeply tied to how we show up in our relationships with others and with ourselves.

The Moon makes a harmonious trine to Jupiter, bringing good luck and expansion into our emotional worlds and our relationships, despite an opposition to Mercury which can cause tensions between our emotions and what we are trying to communicate. There may be some minor miscommunications or an inability to fully understand someone or be understood, but don’t let it trip you up too much. Remember: pause.

If manifestation is part of your practice, this is one hell of a moon to work with. A handful of harmonious aspects between the Sun and Jupiter, Jupiter and Saturn, as well as Neptune and Pluto will provide confidence, emotional maturity, and a desire to learn or explore. Venus square Uranus can create some tension in relationships, but only if the desire for change, excitement and stimulation is met with resistance. Neptune sextile Pluto is laying a blanket opportunity for peace-making within the collective (we’ll just have to see how that plays out). Collective action begins with the self. It’s been years of reassessing our values and creating the scaffolding to raise a new paradigm. And individually, I’d say we’ve got some pretty stable and secure foundations that we can start building from. Time to put the hammer to the nail.
How would you like to continue?

—Buck Moon—
We’ve made it past Litha, the Summer Solstice, and are on the smooth downhill slope of summer. Tomorrow’s Full Moon was traditionally known by North American Indigenous and European cultures as the Buck Moon; a time when male cervidae shed their antlers. This shedding serves as a rite of passage, a time of transition from fighting over resources to collective equanimity and cooperation. What fights are we tired of engaging with in the same old ways? How can we take a step back and come at the conflict from a different angle?

How will you shift gears into this new season? What can you honor, give thanks to, and fully shed from the first six months of the year?

July Office Hours are live!
