Good day, you fine souls,

If you like Boo Walker books, what else should you read?

I can answer this question today! Remember I asked you to give me your favorites a few months back? On my latest blog post, I've included a list of books that were brought up time and time again. And you know what? It's good, and I've spent way too much money and stacked my TBR pile to the ceiling. Hence, why you're not going to like me anymore. I dare you to not buy a book today. Double dare you. I've already bought three just this morning while proofing this email. Click here to say goodbye to your hard-earned money while enriching and nourishing your soul with great literary treasures. It is a well-known fact that books are the one thing you should never feel bad about purchasing. Am I right or am I right?

By the way, what's this Outlander book that everyone mentioned as a fave? I've never heard of it. I'm guessing it's police procedural, or perhaps a steampunk mystery. Whatever it is, I'm sure it's a fad that will die down.

In other news, The Stars Don't Lie hits shelves on August 22nd. You can pre-order it here. I can't wait for you to meet veterinarian Dr. Carver Livingston as he returns home to his small town in Vermont for the first time in twenty years. What kept him away so long? Why in the world is he going back now? And what and who will be waiting for him upon his return? The character who inspired this story is his former English teacher, who saved his life in high school. Twenty years later, she's the one that might need saving. I wrote this novel for all the amazing teachers out there, changing the world one student at a time.

Lastly, I wanted to share a couple of recent interviews. I chatted with the dynamic Tif Marcelo on the Stories to Love podcast. Click here for the Apple version; or here for Spotify. And you can see me talk the latest Red Mountain news and forthcoming books with Jake Brown on About the Authors TV here.

Till next time,

Boo Walker
P.S. My day will be made if someone writes and says, “I can't believe you've never heard of Outlander!” If I hear Jamie's name one more time, I'm gonna go find him and wring his neck.
