DAY REPORTING SUPPORT STAFF
PAY $20/HR - CONTRACT
 
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ideal candidates for the Support Staff position will be high-energy, responsible, organized, and passionate about working with youth. Candidates should display patience, the ability to be flexible, have excellent behavior management skills, and the ability to make decisions and take initiative. Successful candidates will have Youth Work/Youth Development experience, and should be comfortable working with diverse, and system impacted youth and families.
 
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Communicate student issues to Day Reporting Program Manager
- Assistance with coordination of transportation services for students, as needed
- Assist with daily supervision of program participants during academic enrichment activities, physical and recreational activities, field trip activities, and social emotional development activities
- Small group facilitation
- Attendance to Probation/DCS appointments and Court hearings as needed
- Maintain a positive, nurturing, and uplifting environment for all program participants
- Assist in record keeping, data collection, and student assessments 8. Communication with parents and families of program participants
 
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 21 years of age Valid Driver’s License
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalency in experience
- 3 years demonstrated experience working with youth and families
- 3 years demonstrated experience in group facilitation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Great collaboration and teamwork skills
- Basic computer skills
- Experience with delivering Trauma Informed Care principles
- Must pass all DCS required background checks 
 
 
POWER & PROMISE COORDINATOR
PAY $25/HR - FULL TIME (Hourly)
The Power and Promise Coordinator will guide various demographics of youth groups through the Power and Promise Curriculum to prepare them to successfully become mentors, community organizers, policy change advocates, and professional consultants for youth-serving organizations. These two-way, active forms of engagement allow youth to realize change in their immediate environment and begin to shift power to those most impacted.  
 
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
 
- Deliver youth workshops and activities in accordance with the mission and the goals of the organization
- Support youth participation through collective action and interactive learning
- Employ a range of facilitation and education techniques
- Build healthy relationships with the community and schools for youth outreach
- Collaborate with school and community partners to create awareness, programs, and social justice initiatives 
- Attend bi-weekly Power and Promise staff meetings
- Attend required training and mentoring sessions
- Assist in record keeping, data collection, and student assessments
- Organize and implement administrative systems and procedures necessary to support job duties
- Provide consistent updates on program progress, strengths, and growth areas 
 
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalency in experience preferred
- 3 years demonstrated experience working with youth and families
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Great collaboration and teamwork skills
- Ability to problem solve quickly and effectively
- Basic computer skills and experience with virtual engagement platforms
- Experience with delivering Trauma Informed Care principles
- Must pass all DCS required background checks

HOME-BASED CASE MANGER
PAY $47.59/HR - CONTRACT
 
Home-Based Case Managers will follow all requirements and outcome goals of DCS service standards. Services will be provided according to the Indiana Practice Model in such providers will build trust-based relationships with families and partners by exhibiting empathy, professionalism, genuineness and respect. Services will be high quality, family centered, and culturally competent. This position is designed to safely maintain children in their homes (or foster home); prevent children's initial placement or reentry into foster care; preserve, support, and stabilize families; and promote the well-being of children, youth, and families.
 
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Services can also occur in the school, community or facility. Home-based Caseworker Services provides any combination of the following kinds of services to the families as approved by DCS/Probation:
  • Home visits
  • Participation in DCS Case planning
  • Supervised visitation
  • Coordination of services
  • Conflict management
  • Emergency/crisis services
  • Child development education
  • Domestic violence education
  • Parenting education/training
  • Family communication
  • Facilitate transportation
 
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum BA/BS in Human Services, Psychology, or related field
  • (Other Bachelor’s degrees will be accepted with 39 credit hours in human services or education)
  • 3 years’ experience providing a service to families that need assistance in the protection and care of their children and/or providing skills training, development, and habilitation.
  • Experience with person-centered planning approaches and positive behavioral supports
  • Experience with behavior management
  • Valid driver’s license and the ability to use a private car to transport self and others and must comply with the state policy concerning minimum car insurance coverage.
  • Possess good writing and oral skills to effectively communicate individuals’ needs and objectives.
  • Knowledge of child abuse and neglect, child and adult development, community resources
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Must be able to pass all drug tests and background checks
 
DRIVER
PAY $20/HR-CONTRACT
 
Responsible for safely operating an 11 or 15 passenger van to pick up and drop off students to and from their home and our building in Fountain Square.
 
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide Transportation of consumers to and from scheduled activities in the community
• Maintain vehicle in a safe and clean manner
• Adhere to and promote the Corporate Compliance Program at VOICES Corp.
• Reliable, responsible, self-sufficient driver to work the hours of 7-9am and 3-5pm (M-F)
• Report any issues or incidents to management
• Inspection of van
• Communicate students absences
 
QUALIFICATIONS
Valid Driver’s License; 21+ years of age
• Able to pass background checks
• Able to pass a drug screen: Strong work ethic
 
All occupants required to wear a mask and practice 6 feet social distancing when possible
