As you know, there's a new Barbie movie in town. We’re in for a total nostalgia trip. And as the film trailers promise, we’re also in for the reminder that Barbie is not just a toy. She is a symbol of adventure, diversity, fearlessness, kindness, and she’s got an incredible never-give-up attitude to boot.
This movie brought to mind one of our favourite LOVI Barbies. Pictured above is Jay De Silva, a cancer biologist, model, and Miss Universe Sri Lanka winner in 2016. Jay is a true renaissance woman. But she’s just one LOVI Barbie we admire. We’ve got many—go ahead and blush—you know who you are.
