“How Superheroes Make Money: - Spider-Man knits sweaters. - Superman screw the lids on pickle jars. - Iron Man, as you would suspect, just irons.” ― Jim Benton, Okay, So Maybe I Do Have Superpowers |

Dearest yarnbirds and superheroes, Good grief! Be careful out there. It is hot! Our advice? Stay inside with the a/c cranked and your knitting or crochet to hand. Better still, escape up the mountain to knit or crochet under the shade of a pine or aspen. Of course, there is a third option if you have access to a pool. I'm not sure what the folks at the neighborhood park will think if I pull out the Tupperware and knitting, but maybe I'll resort to a paddling pool in the backyard - see below. |

Fast forward to July 23rd and we have another option. Join us at the theater at El Con where we have rented a private party room for a pre-movie Barbie the Movie party. We still have a few spots left. We will gather for an hour to knit, crochet, snack and eat Barbie inspired cake, before we proceed on to the movie. Each participant will receive a mini skein of a special dyed for the occasion colorway from Dream in Color and a pattern for an accessory created by Tina and Holly. Find out more below and register while there are still a few spaces. |
