She Changes the Game® is an initiative of Up2Us Sports focused on increasing opportunities for women to coach, building the capacity of girls’ sports programs, and leveling the playing field for girls.
The She Changes the Game® Coach Development Program is a new training program currently being piloted in Philadelphia, PA. The Coach Development Program is for girls entering their junior or senior year of high school. It intends to strengthen girls’ technical coaching skills and confidence in stepping into a junior-coach role at their sports program.
The program is designed to support girls and young women as they transition out of their “athlete” role at their youth sports program into a potential “coach” role.

About the Program
The WISE Emerging Leaders Certificate Program is specifically designed to expand the leadership capabilities of female professionals in middle management. This virtual, interactive program will help you hone your understanding and application of business, strategic and financial acumen, and prepare you for advancement.
Over the course of six modules, you will learn the business outcomes prioritized by CEOs, the role of financial measures in executing strategy, and methods for better communicating your proficiency of the business.
Module workbooks and exercises provide ample opportunity for reflection and for putting learnings into practice. Throughout the program, you will be asked to complete an assessment to ensure knowledge transfer and are expected to actively take part in the breakout group exercises.
Who Should Attend
Middle managers, defined as supervisors, project leads, managers, senior managers and directors (depending on organization/company structure and size)
Schedule and Format
Classes meet weekly for five consecutive weeks — Sept. 20 to Oct. 18. Each module is approximately 75 to 90 minutes long. The first class day consists of two modules; the remaining dates are single modules. Most virtual sessions are facilitated by Leading Women, a WISE professional development partner.
