Whether you were one of the first to set up your Threads account last week, or haven't yet made the jump, nearly everyone has at least caught wind of the rapid-growing app that is rivaling Musk's Twitter. While the rivalry between Zuckerberg and Musk gained traction (and awkwardness) over the weekend, it was the 100 million+ users in just five days that continues to make headlines - positioning Threads as the fastest-growing consumer app in history (surpassing Chat GPT). 
 
Creators are also reacting, many still on the fence about whether the hype around the new platform is warranted or if this mass pull of users towards Threads (in some cases, away from Instagram) may cause more harm than good as they look to stabilize their platforms, as well as their revenue. Others are making a case for “less is more” as some brands have been quick to jump in this week, without a solid strategy in place.
 
No matter which way you're leaning, the potential here is undeniable, and we're excited to be along for the ride as we continue to explore the best uses of Threads for our clients and influencer partners.
