Hi friends,

Many of you sent me on social media your congratulations for my brother's wedding and kind wishes for the newlyweds; thank you so much for sharing our happiness. This past week was one for the books; we danced our shoes off and sang our vocal cords to squeaking.

While some uninvited drama tried to rear its face during the happy week, we were all keen on only allowing feelings of joy in, and we succeeded. My favorite part of the big day was when the bride and groom met at the church door as they were about to be joined in holy matrimony; I couldn't be happier seeing how they lovingly looked at each other at that moment.

While I won't talk wedding stuff again here anytime soon, it will take some time for us in the family to get tired of talking about it. I'll also share more photos on Instagram stories for a while, the most engaging kind of stories, apparently!

Finally, today is my husband's birthday, Happy Birthday my love Ehab! He sometimes opens my Sunday Spark email, so let's hope he sees this one. (If he does, I will let you know on stories, too). And yes, we're both July-born and have Cancer signs!

Here is your weekly dose of The Sunday Spark ⚡️ a newsletter listing 5 insightful things I thought were worth starting your week with:

1. 💡 Brilliant and motivating words to keep creating: The connection between laziness and discipline.

3. 🛑 Please stop talking about it over and over and pick one.

5. 💭 Your quote of the week, a reminder to go back to journaling:

“Writing, then, is a kind of seeing. A way to see your insecurities more clearly. A way to shine a light on doubts and dreams and realize what they are actually about. It can dissolve a whole puddle of worries in the bright light of truth.”
― Matt Haig-The Comfort Book

(Thank you Readwise for helping me find this quote from a book I read)
