It is Week 6 of the #rosaliaqal - the final week! I can't believe how quickly this time has gone. It's been so much fun to see everyone's progress and to get to know you all a little better.
 
This week, we're finishing up our quilt tops! I'm so excited to see all of your finished Rosalia Quilts. Be sure to share your photos on social media and tag me so I can see them.

How To Arrange Your Blocks

Deciding on a block arragenement for my quilt top is usually the most difficult part of the process for me. Here's are some tips to guide you: 
  1. Start by sorting your blocks by color. This will help you see how many blocks you have in each color and make it easier to plan your layout. I like to use the colors of the bigger piece in the block for this part.
  2. Once you have your blocks sorted, start arranging them on a design wall or floor space. There are no right or wrong answers here, so experiment until you find an arrangement that you like.
  3. As you're arranging your blocks, pay attention to the distribution of colors. You want to make sure that the colors are spread out evenly so that your quilt top doesn't look too busy or too monotonous.
  4. Once you've found an arrangement that you like, take a picture of it so you can remember it.
  5. Then, start sewing your blocks together!
