It's been awhile…

First name / Hey friend,
It’s been a while. Here’s what’s been going on….
In 2020, I was so excited to start my business and to be a stylist. I had big dreams- big scary dreams. But I was a full-time student, who was juggling school, a few part time gigs, and starting my business. I learned the lesson really fast about burnout - it’s really crappy. When I hit my burnout, in some ways I questioned, was I really meant to be a stylist? I felt like I was hitting a brick wall. I felt like I couldn’t compete with other stylists. I felt like I had to have millions of followers to be seen as valuable.

And so I took a break. A break from all the reels of what an entrepreneur should do. I unfollowed stylists I compared myself to instead of cheering for them. I took a break to allow myself space on creating a business that I would love long term.

And so I did.

I discovered a coach and mentor through a friend, who has reignited my passion and vision of serving women entrepreneurs. But this time- I have a new mission. I want women to love their bodies. Why- because in the last two years I’ve gained 30 lbs. As a result, I thought after I lose the weight I will start my business again. Or after I lose weight then I’ll start showing up on Instagram more. After I lose weight then I’ll get new branding photos taken. I contemplated should I wait to lose the weight?

A light bulb went off in my head. Wait… I can’t be the only woman entrepreneur who feels this way right?

I realized the longer I wait, the longer the client I want to serve will not know my services which can help her feel confident about her body again.

I have a specific woman in mind and I want her to finally say, “Enough.” I am going to do big things now. I am  going to serve my audience now. I am going to be confident in my NOW body and I'm going to be super stylish doing it.

So- I’m taking a new approach in my business. I want women to look stylish, but I want them to believe in their heart and mind that they are enough. Right now. Not after they lose weight. Not after they can fit into those jeans again. RIGHT NOW.

I’m excited for us to reconnect. If we haven’t officially met, hit the reply button below and let’s start chatting about all the things. Style + business.
