Well, I'm not going anywhere, but I'll admit that I need a little break from all the classes and events here at the shoppe. So I decided that we will take the month of August off from planned events with a couple exceptions - Thursday morning Kids' Classes and our August Birthday Celebration on Saturday, August 26. I'll be working on a fall lineup of inspiring workshops starting again Labor Day weekend. (I already have a flower bar/arranging workshop booked with LeonaRose Flowers- so excited about that!) All that being said, we are still booking private plant parties for August. Gather at least three friends together and come make one of our plant projects. Learn more here. A Psalm Summer Solitude. For as long as I can remember, I have tried to rise early, to be the first one up so I can have a few minutes of quiet before the house fills with morning activity. My intention is always to start my day in God's Word and write a page in my journal, but often I settle in with my phone, scrolling through my social media pages. It bothers me that this has become my default.
