Venus goes Retrograde today and I spoke about this at the end of the book club call yesterday in response to a great question from Natalie. Retrogrades of any planet are always an invitation to reflection + reevaluation. With Venus this is around money + resourcing, relationships, intimacy + love, and self worth as well as how + what we value to what we feel is and how we feel beautiful. To our relationship to our own individuation and the was in which we follow or deny our heart's desires. It's not a time to go on a spending spree but is a time to look at your money and your relationship to prosperity, which is exactly what we're doing here.
Retrogrades are often invitation to more deliberate work/life balance. To rest and restoration. How can you more fully lean in to all of the Venus tips I've been sharing (Jupiter in Taurus/Venus in Leo), into ritual, into beauty, into the feminine. This is also why we are focusing big on energetics - on RECEIVING - rather than pushing. Even your actions during the Waxing will be best served in these spaces - in inventory and clearing around the ways in which you are getting in your own way, into clearing the obstacles, and unkinking the flow hose.
The best day to take action and really amplify prosperity will be August 13th when Venus is in the seat of the Sun (aka cazimi) - very auspicious and magical. Plan accordingly. :)
